Dr Vid Jindal completed his undergraduate course work at the University of Alberta Canada specializing in Exercise Physiology. In 2003 he went on to pursue his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Palmer West Chiropractic College in California. He specialized in Sports Chiropractic training with Palmer West Sports Council and when he graduated in 2006 received the prestigious Clinical Excellence Award for outstanding patient care. He practiced at a prominent Sports Medicine clinic for 1 year treating many elite triathletes, Soccer players and San Jose State University athletes in Santa Clara and decided to open his own practice in 2007. He believes in spending focused care and time with his patients to alleviate the soft tissue dysfunctions and determine the biomechanical root cause of the injury, After the the muscle tension is released and the spine/extremities undergo adjustments he is able to correct and rehab the area with a proper corrective/functional care program.
Dr Vid was a former cross country and track athlete ranking top placing for many years in his hometown and region of Windsor Ontario, Canada. He grew up training/competing many hours a week and understands what hard work and resilience it takes to continually perform at an optimal level. In college he trained with the University of Alberta Bears Ski Team and also played high level Volleyball in the Mens City league. Over many years of competing he sustained numerous injuries and had to undergo traditional PT, Chiropractic and rehab in order to come back to healthy competition. Dr Vid's personal experience as a patient of many treatment approaches have helped him designed a process that incorporates the best evidence based clinical practices to help patients fully recover from their injury and improve performance. In his leisure time he enjoys golfing in Monterey and Carmel, Skiing in Tahoe, Whistler and Banff. He trains many hours a week to handle the physical demands of patient care and to be in a state of ready for his athletic passions. In the last 2 years he has started his backcountry ski training, completed his Avalanche level 1 and backcountry rescue certifications.
Dr Jindal is a Sports Chiropractor certified though the American Chirpractic Board of Sports Physicians. He also received his Diplomat in Rehab from the American Chiropractic Rehab Board. With this core training and using a variety of advanced soft tissue techniques like Active Release Technuque (ART), Graston Technique (GT), Hanson Muscle Technique (HMT), Myofascial Decompression/cupping (MFD) to effectively heal the patients injury. He also is a certified Titlelist Performance Institute Sports Medicine provider and uses their SFMA movement assessments to treatment many golf/athletic injuries. He incorporates effective neurological based rehab protocols to ensure the patients improving in their strength, former RKC certified trainer and incorporates advanced kettlebells into the patients program. FMT1 & FMT2 with RockTape Kinesiology taping is implemented with cases that need more movement support.
Allisha has an extensive background in office administration, with experience and specialties in payroll and accounting. Allisha has spent the last 4.5 years working for a very high paced Integrated Chiropractic Clinic. This experience has helped her understand how to manage and implement effective clinic procedures to ensure excellent patient interaction and support to the Doctors. She brings a high level of dedication and commitment to customer service and is excited to assist in patient care management. . Her hard work and attention to detail is an invaluable asset to SSI as she helps build our team.
In her spare time, Allisha enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, pursuing her passions for snowboarding, mountain biking, ATVing, and fishing.
